Marina met up with us in Ginza. We wanted to have Kobe beef so she took us for a nice lunch in Kawamura.
We ordered Kobe and Tajima Beef Hamburg Steak Lunch Course which came with soup of the day, kobe and tajima beef hamburg steak (180g) with vegetables, season salad, bread or rice, dessert and coffee. The price - JPY2,625.
After lunch, we walked around Ginza for a bit. Marina bought us this very yummy Belgian Waffle. I love it. The waffle was really crispy and the cream will just melt in your mouth. Oooh I miss that!
We head back to Shinjuku for the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The garden was originally created for the Royal Family in 1906. It is currently a national park, harmonizing both European and Japanese styles. Entry fee - JPY200.
The garden closed at 4pm. So we headed back to our hotel to collect and repack our luggage. Boy, that was a serious long walk from the garden back to our hotel. LOL!
We took the subway to Shinjuku station and over there, Marina helped us to buy the Airport Limousine Bus ticket to Haneda Airport. We hung out for a bit at a random bar and restaurant nearby until it's time to say goodbye. Sniff! Sniff!
Well, I miss Tokyo. I think Japan is a country I don't mind visiting again and again. I will definitely check out the other parts of Japan in future.
